Personalization is key to engaging learners in the training and learning process. The starting point in your learning journey is the diagnostic tool that identifies the training needs of Smart Cities Technicians.

This diagnostic tool was developed to help you, individual learners, identify your training needs based on your previous knowledge, skills, and competences. The diagnostic tool is structured around the knowledge and skills defined in the “Smart Cities Technician” job profile that is designed by the SMACITE project.

Using this diagnostic tool can be a valuable exercise in introspection and can help you take a proactive approach to your own learning and development. It can also be a valuable resource for identifying career paths and job opportunities in Smart Cities. Last but not least, based on your knowledge and skills self-evaluation, the tool will provide you with recommendations on what modules from the courses you might consider skipping or reviewing. 

Please note that the tool is designed for your information only. In the end of the day, you are the one to decide which courses and their modules to take, regardless of the recommendation given by the tool.

There are two categories of courses:

  • Those that are aiming to build the technical skills of learners on Smart Cities enabling technologies (technical courses)
  • Those that are aming to build the soft, enterpreneurial and green skills (non-technical courses)
